There’s a few things that have been bothering me with the newer generations.
For one, when has it ever been acceptable to yell at or disrespect your parents. I don’t want to sound as a hypocrite because of course I have had arguments with my parents and have said things to them I shouldn’t have, but it just seems as today, younger kids/teens have no shame or sense of authority.
Same also goes for older siblings. I am the youngest of three children, and now that all of us are adults, I still think twice about what I say to my older sisters. It’s just a form of respect that younger siblings should show towards their older siblings. Nowadays, kids/teens don’t even acknowledge the age limit between their siblings and themselves. If you’re an older sibling, you’ll understand how your parents feel when your younger brother or sister disrespect you.
Next, have some decency around others. If you know someone who is not comfortable regarding certain topics, don’t bring them up. It is that simple.
People may disagree with me on this one, but I seriously do not find cussing or cursing to be a “bad” thing. If you want to cuss, fuck, just cuss. If you know your limits of when, where, and who not to cuss around, then I see no problem. As long as you’re not using the Lord’s name in vain, go on ahead, be my guest. For those who are not of Christian faith or of any religion, still show some respect to others who are when using such language.
Sex; if you want to go have sex with your partner, go for it. Just be mature and learn to respect your partner. If you or your partner have religious views regarding sex, honor them and do not do it because of peer pressure; do it because you guys are “ready” and feel love for each other. I don’t really care what anyone does in the privacy of their home, but one shouldn’t spread to the world they just had sex. It just really shows how immature one is.
One last thing, if someone is lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender etc. Have some fucking courtesy. If two gay guys or lesbian girls want to be in a relationship, mind your own business. Seriously. If it doesn’t concern you, why bother? They are people just as much as any of us. I’m straight and a Christian, and I find nothing wrong in two people wanting to love each other. Grow up bro, and focus on your own life.
If you agree with me or not, I accept that because everyone is entitled to their own opinions or beliefs, and these just happen to be my own views on these topics.
Don’t you eat bro? Seriously.
Honestly though, you don’t know how much it sucks to care about someone and realize that they’re probably talking to other people. It makes you wonder if you’re just being a bother or not, then you kind of just let it go.
